Title: Accounts Payable Specialist II/III

Location: Auburn, WA

Type of assignment: Contract/ Contract-to-hire

Base pay: $30-35/hr

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialistfor an aerospace manufacturing company. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in high volume invoice management, looking to get a foot in the door or further their career in Accounts Payable.

Primary responsibilities:

· Enter data into the computer system using defined computer programs and compiles data and prepares a variety of reports

· Identify and match invoices and vendor statements

· Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies

· Research and reconcile discrepant invoices and vendor statements

· Match vendor invoices to Purchase Orders and accurately code and post matched invoices to appropriate GL account

· Obtain proper management approval of invoices

· Prepare and conduct weekly check run; perform daily check runs as needed

· Maintain and monitor Accounts Payable aging reports to meet or exceed company standards

What you'll bring:

3-5+ years of high volume experience

High school diploma or equivalent education

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

High attention to detail

Bonus skills or learning opportunities:

· Associates Degree and/or Accounting Certification

· Experience with ERP systems, Syteline preferred
