Senior Operational Risk Officer, Bank

A very well respected International Bank based in the City of London are seeking a Senior Operational Risk Officer to join the operational risk function within the bank. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong banking experience looking to have an impact and take responsibility within a very well-respected bank.

Your new role
This is a high profile role within the operational risk function of the bank, reporting to the Head of Risk and CRO, you will be a part of the team taking responsibility for the effective implementation of the Operational Risk management framework (ORMF) within the Bank.
You will gain great exposure to the full scope of operational risk, including but not limited to RCSA, KRI, Third-Party and outsourcing, operational resilience frameworks, reporting and training. This team is also beginning to take on responsibility for enterprise risk within the bank.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong experience across a range of operational risks with knowledge of processes, methodologies and emerging areas of risk within a bank or similar financial institution. Experience within an international or overseas bank is also desirable.
You will be a strong communicator, able to effectively challenge colleagues and present to senior stakeholders.
