Your new company is a growing company located in Morecambe with fantastic links to local transport and the M6 motorway. They are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Purchase ledger duties including matching invoices to delivery notes and entering invoices on accounting system.
- Administration of new customer accounts.
- Reviewing aged debtors and chasing late payments.
- Filing and administration duties.
- Customer invoicing and statements.
What you'll need to succeed
- You must have experience within a similar role and an awareness of how a busy accounts office should function. You must also have a basic knowledge of accounts procedures.
- Excel skills.
- Experience using accounting software packages.
- Reliable and good time keeping.
- AAT Qualification is desired but not essential.
