What will you do?
We are looking for a Systems Accountant to join our based Group Finance team. In this role you will ensure the optimal operation of Ryman's financial systems, processes, and reporting, including maintaining financial data integrity.
With Ryman's enhanced focus on best in class systems and process throughout the business, the finance team requires a subject matter to play a key role in ensuring any business-wide project or process improvement achieves an optimal and considered outcome for finance. This exciting role would also drive the continuous improvement and automation of systems and processes to ensure efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Technology team and external consultants to manage our financial systems and software, including supporting upgrades and enhancements.
Be the expert on the various system interfaces. Use this knowledge to problem solve, educate our team on best practice
Consulting with the Group and Regional Finance teams and end-users to determine the needs of the financial systems, and ensuring continuous improvement is achieved
Optimising the use of our new finance forecasting and scenario modelling tool and other finance specific tools. Document current logic and develop testing plans and protocols for planned changes
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including setting up and maintaining system reconciliations
Building trusted, collaborative relationships with finance and across the wider business

You have proven experience in a similar role, including ERP experience, accounting knowledge/qualification and a continuous improvement mindset.
