We advise our clients on strategic financial decisions including buy vs build, strategic options, deal structure, predictive analytics. Your key responsibilities

Analyse individual securities, industries, and the economy
Publish reports and make recommendations regarding investments
To provide solutions to clients with regards to valuations, and reasonable opinion, as well as delegate work to junior staff, coach, and train where necessary.
To eventually develop a network of relationships and as a result securing a revenue stream.
You will work on valuation assignments for large corporate clients, manage time and delivery to clients.
Build relationships both with clients and within the firm. Produce written reports and keep up to date with relevant technical information.

Skills and attributes for success

Have a proven technical ability to conduct valuations and do fair and reasonable opinions.
Exposure to JSE documentation will be an advantage.
Have excellent report writing skills.
Can build and develop relationships with clients and staff at all levels.
Good time management skills - well organized and disciplined.
Be creative and challenging.
Be a team player.

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor Honours Degree
Postgraduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (NQF level 8)

Ideally, you'll also have

Experience working in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, or consulting businesses.
Relevant Professional body, council or board recognised by SAQA and contemplated in Regulation 18(5)(a) or where applicable Regulation 18(5)(b)
