Systems Accountant

About the role:
Our client has recently implemented a new ERP system and is looking for a Systems Accountant who can help them get the most out of their new system. You will have past accounting system implementation and support experience and know the core accounting modules well.
Duties:
• Gather requirements across the organisation.
• Produce business process and requirements documentation.
• Identify business process improvements and inefficiencies.
• Communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Provide system / process training to the business.
• Be the bridge between the technical team and the business.
Skills & experience:
• Must have accounting and systems experience.
• Know your way around the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts.
• Past system configuration experience a bonus.
• Ability to extract information from various IT systems.
• High standard of work, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Be able to hit the ground running.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills.
