If you have a sharp eye for detail and are looking for an opportunity to showcase your accounts payable and reconciliation skills, we need you to cover a fixed term maternity leave position in our award winning veterinary practice.
What you will be doing
Based in our Pukekohe Support Office, you will play a vital part in the efficient management and processing of Franklin Vet's account payable transactions across multiple clinics.
You will be responsible for:

End to end Accounts Payable process including entering and processing supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements, preparation of monthly payments and ensuring queries are promptly resolved
Managing our invoice approval system
Balance sheet reconciliations
Asset register maintenance
Preparing month end accrual and prepayment journals
Preparation of monthly GST return
Calculation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Providing support to the Finance team when required including bank reconciliations and payment runs
Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the accounts payable process

About you
You'll have prior Accounts Payable experience in a medium to large company and a track record of accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments. Team focused, you'll enjoy helping people and resolving issues while your strong organisational skills will ensure you are able to meet deadlines. You will be proficient in Xero. Medium to advanced Excel skills are required.
