Head of Technical Accounting

Your new company
This globally renowned professional services group have a newly created role to head up their Technical Accounting function to support group integrate their recent and future acquisitions.


Your new role
As Head of Technical Accounting, you will initially inherit their current international team, before recruiting and building a technical team in their Manchester Shared Service Centre. You will engage with stakeholders to improve their reporting and controls across multiple entities, whilst taking full control of IFRS9 queries and upgrading the business and accounting systems.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in technical accounting with experience and knowledge of IFRS9. You will have ideally worked within a Service based business previously, although, the client has stated, having experience in a large complex business within a technical role will also be considered.
