My client is a manufacturing powerhouse making products necessary to everyone. The business has been in operation for many years and is still growing. Due to a secondment in the team, they are looking for a Management Accountant to join to team focusing on Sales and Margin analysis.

The Role

As the Management Accountant you will report directly to the Finance Manager and partnering closely with the Sales and Manufacturing teams. You will have a keen eye for variances and impact key business decisions. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Duties

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Margin Analysis and Variance Analysis
• Reporting on pricing changes and rebates
• Reporting on and analysing key changes to the P&L
• Partnering with the sales team regarding price and cost changes
• Full month-end process and monthly reporting
• Balance sheet and GL reconciliations
• Full tax requirements; GST, FBT etc.
• Ad-hoc reporting

Skills & Experience

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desired
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Ability to tell a story with numbers
