Seeking a commercially-minded Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager with more than 6 years experience at a mid-senior level working in an SME, adept in Financial strategy, reporting and financial plans, who has managed individuals to work with my client to achieve their ambitious global growth objectives.

My client are a leading South African creative group of companies, who specialise in Sport and Entertainment marketing, content production, and media rights.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the agency.
  • This role will partner with various departments to provide financial insights, identify key business drivers, and develop financial models to support strategic decision making.
Key Focus Areas
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Identify areas of opportunity for cost savings and revenue growth
  • Provide insights on key financial and operational metrics to support decision making
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Business Partnering
  • Build strong relationships with department heads to understand business drivers and provide financial insights.
  • Lead and prepare financial presentations for executive management and board of directors
Financial Controls
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
  • Ensure financial data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting systems
  • Monitor compliance with internal and external controls
  • Manage the financial audit process
Project Finances
  • Develop project budgets and forecasts
  • Oversee project finances to ensure profitability and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support project decision making
Team Management
  • Manage the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
  • Complete Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration
  • Experience working in a small to medium size business
  • 6 years+ experience within the same / similar role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Leadership and team management experience
