Group Systems Accountant

A great opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join a successful media business, initially on a 12 month FTC

Your new role
This newly created role is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, with possibility to convert to permanent. This role has been created to assist in the Group's consolidation and reporting requirements. You'll be involved in change and transformation as well as month end Management Accounting responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Reporting projects - improvement of reporting/data collection tools
• Forecast consolidation (using Power Query)
• Actuals consolidation
• CAPEX forecast reporting
• SAP reporting development
• Documenting processes
• Month end reporting including accruals and reconciliations (AP, AR, intercompany)

What you'll need to succeed

• PowerBI or Power Query experience preferred
• SAP/Python/SQL experience beneficial
• Comfortable working with large data sets
• Strong understanding of processes and systems
• Part qualified level Accountant with exposure to month end accounting
