Are you an experienced Accountant, looking for your next interim contract?
Would you like to work for an organisation where you can really make a difference?
If so, this 18-month assignment is the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for supporting the finance department, working within a relaxed and open environment, with a 'family-feel' culture.
You will manage the day-to-day accounts payable process and support the annual budget process, including data analysis and presentation.
Completing monthly account reconciliations and supporting the month-end process including monthly reporting, journal entries and accruals preparation will also be among your duties.
You will be responsible for assisting with year-end closing, annual audit and the preparation of statutory accounts.
You'll also take responsibility for interacting with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Additionally, you will be required to compile VAT returns, if you have experience this would be desirable, but is not essential.
You will be an AAT or part-qualified accountant, or perhaps you consider yourself to be qualified by experience.
You'll have Accounts Payable experience, perhaps in the oil and gas or other regulated industry.
You have excellent Excel knowledge and experience of SAP.
You will be a good problem-solver, with the ability to generate effective solutions in a timely manner and with attention to detail.
You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a can-do attitude.
You will receive 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and the chance of an additional flexi-day each month with overtime.
And, you will benefit from a 7% per annum equivalent bonus on completion of the assignment.
