Finance Director

An Interim Finance Director job based in Birmingham offering hybrid working and an excellent daily rate

Hays are delighted to be partnered with our large corporate client, part of a US owned Group, seeking an Interim Finance Director to join their team whilst they recruit for a permanent replacement.

Your new role
You will spend time with the outgoing Finance Director in terms of handover and play a pivotal role in ensuring business operates as usual during the permanent recruitment period of a new FD. This role places particular focus on internal controls and so applicants require experience working with US GAAP and SOx controls. You will also be heavily involved in the budgeting process over the next few months and will report directly in to the company CFO. This is a hands-on role that will suit applicants happy to roll up their sleeves and be heavily involved in the day-to-day management of the team and also in internal controls.

This role will be based at the Birmingham City Centre office but offers hybrid working flexibility. Anticipated duration 6 months.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you should be an experienced Senior Finance professional with management experience at Director and board level. You will have extensive knowledge of US GAAP & SOx controls and be comfortable in supporting with this over the next few months. You will require experience working in large and complex organisations often reporting in to Group. You will be a strong people manager, confident in liaising directly with board.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an excellent daily rate of between £600 - £800 per day inside IR35 during this interim assignment.
