Working as part of the Group Finance team this role will be responsible for the efficient and reliable reporting of financial information and maintaining and improving the financial control structure. Reporting into the Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on daily cash position and calculating and posting of accruals, prepayments, and other monthly journals. As Management Accountant, you will be accountable for detailed transaction and cost analysis for month end reporting and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Within this role you will also prepare supporting financial information for statutory reporting, tax, ONS and other filings and partnering with transactional finance teams to link processes across the finance department.

About You

We're looking for a Qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or part-qualified Accountant who has experience of preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances as well as having experience of time-pressured monthly deadlines with multiple stakeholders. You must be able to display a high level of proficiency in Excel as well as proficiency in using accounting and ERP systems. Ideally the successful candidate will have industry experience, albeit not essential.
