Argyll and Bute Council is looking to recruit two Principal Accountants within our Accounting and Budgeting Team. These are permanent full time posts working 35 hours per week and the location is negotiable within Argyll and Bute.
These roles are an exciting opportunity for two CCAB qualified accountants to gain invaluable leadership and management experience in a challenging and dynamic local government finance environment. The successful applicants will lead and manage a team of up to 10 finance staff who provide our front-line service departments with professional accountancy support to help them deliver key services to communities across Argyll and Bute. They will also be members of our Financial Services Management Team and provide support to our Finance Managers across a range of accounting and budgeting activities including capital management, year end accounts, tax management and asset management
