About the role
We have an opportunity for a talented Financial Accountant to join the Corporate Financial Services team based in East Tamaki, Auckland.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with other business finance teams to ensure the completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial tasks are completed on time.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a similar role, you're confident and professional you're a natural with it comes to dealing with a range of senior professional stakeholders in and out of the office.
You're a team player, a self-starter who is not afraid to come up with initiatives. A post CA or CPA qualification is preferred, advanced Microsoft Excel is essential, if you have experience using JDE E1 that would be an advantage.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with other business finance teams to ensure the completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial tasks are completed on time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End of month processing including preparation and posting of month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit & loss review with corporate managers
- Corporate CWIP maintenance and capitalisation
- Prepare the budget and quarterly forecast
- Payment & Payroll review
- Ensure all accounting tasks are completed within the set time frame
- Continuous improvement to systems, templates to support operations
- Perform other accounting duties and support finance team as required or assigned
