SF is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant - 9 months FTC on behalf of a high growth organisation based in South Derbyshire.

The role will report directly into the Finance Controller and will also work closely with a Regional Director to provide financial & business support. Key duties will include

- Responsibility for the production of management accounts
- To be the central point of contact for the Regional Director and ensure their financial support needs are met
- To participate in monthly & quarterly regional finance and operational reviews
- To manage a small team of direct reports, including management accounts and assistant management accountants, in their day to day work and also their personal development.
- Cost analysis by site throughout the month and period end ensuring costs are coded correctly
- Accounting data analysis by site throughout the month and period end
- Provision of production statistics and inventory movements and reconciliation
- Reconciliation of capital expenditure
- Entry of month end journals for reporting
- Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis for the works and depots
- To ensure financial data is accurate and complete and coded correctly
- To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed routinely and any differences are investigated and resolved
- To help drive process improvements within the finance team
