Responsible for the execution of reliable, timely and complete specialist accounting tasks and activities as recorded in the Global Process Design and Standard Operating Procedures*)
Provide quality assurance on Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) and specifications for all Group provisions (Pension, Environmental, Rationalization, Decommissioning and Other Sundry)
Review BS and P&L figures and variances on a monthly basis
Create adjust specification (A-Forms)
Prepare and perform monthly analysis to present to External reporting department
Maintain, monitor and update the Environmental provision database (in excel)
Maintain, monitor and update the Management Equity Plan database (in excel)
Calculate and post quarterly adjustments to the Pension provisions and Management Equity plan
Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual pension valuation process
Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual environmental review process.
Actively provide the group auditor (PWC) with required information
Support local RAC's and reporting department with quarterly holiday accrual
Analyze salaries and wages on a monthly basis (group wide)
Responsible that all the month end closing deadlines are met
