RECfinancial is partnering on an exclusive basis with a Leicester based FMCG business in their search to appoint a Company Accountant to be based at their head office. The business is based in Leicester City Centre and is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire.

Reporting to the Managing Director the role of the Company Accountant will be to over see the smooth running of the finance department for this cash rich and growing business. The business has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and doubled in size during the lock down periods, they have sustained the growth in the business as the world has gone back to normal - its a really exciting time to be joining them.

The role will be responsible for preparing the monthly accounts, managing the cash flow and payments, overseeing one member of staff, looking after the bank accounts and reconciliations, vat returns, payroll and supporting the directors in making key decisions.

The role is broad and everything that you expect in the running of a small and growing business.

The business culture is great and the owners take the approach of constantly investing in the business rather than stripping it of cash.

The role would be suit a candidate who is either an Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant, A candidate in either a bookkeeper or company accountant role or someone who is looking to move into industry from working in practice.

There is lots of potential for the role to grow in the future with the business.

The role has a salary range of between £28,000 and £35,000 plus benefits
