Why this role is important to us

The main function of the role is to produce the risk reports by consolidation of data from various sources and publish the same to respective Risk Managers/Portfolio Managers/Clients/Compliance team(s). The individual will participate in maintaining and enhancing current investment risk & liquidity risk management processes and collaborate with colleagues within the global organization in the design and implementation of procedures and processes for the SSgA's investment risk program. The individual will be involved in examining investment risk & liquidity risk issues and responding to ad-hoc requests from various business groups and senior management, and also undertake research on areas of risk management.

As an Intern you will :

Produce the risk analytics and reports using data from various sources and deliver the same on time.

Taking part in projects and liaising with development activities.

Analyze and/or Escalate on characteristics that are above tolerance like highlighting exceeded performance over risk budget.

Support Risk Analysts in research and analysis when there is an ad-hoc query from Client, Risk Manager or Compliance team(s).

Update the Risk reporting and processing procedures as and when there is a change in the processing method.

Maintenance of risk analytics in the both internal and external database systems.

Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of analytics in the risk reports delivered.

Education and Preferred Qualifications

MBA in Finance or equivalent.

Certified/Pursuing CFA/FRM or Possess NCFM certifications related to financial markets/products/analysis.
