Job Description & Summary A career in Deals Valuation, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations unlock greater value from existing assets and ongoing capital expenditures as well as new acquisitions, investments, and complex corporate arrangements. We focus on a series of services, such as acquisition and disposal valuation advice including deal pricing and negotiation support, strategic value consulting for improvement of corporate and capital management decisions, financial modelling and value analysis. In short, upon being a member of our team, you will support clients to make profound strategic decisions, better conduct business transactions and decisions, appropriately allocate capital investment, and satisfy regulatory requirements with professional skills and in-depth industry knowledge.

Valuation Analyst

The Valuations Group specializes in valuationofwide spectrumofbusinesses, shares and assets (tangible and intangible) that assists clients in taking key decisions in several areas including, strategic transactions(such as acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and joint ventures), internal/financial restructuring, strategic decision makingandlegalissues.

We are seeking a Valuation Analyst to join a growing team of professionals in our Bangalore office. Job

Description

The Analyst will:

Assist with collection and analysis of financial/qualitative data;
Analyze public companies and M&A transactions;
Conduct primary/secondary research on industries/ companies as directed by senior personnel
Assist with building financial models;
Assist with valuation engagements using established methodologies-discounted cash flow,

market multiple method etc.

Assist with risk management/ engagement execution activities.
Assist with Business Development activities.

Skills and Requirements

The Analyst should have:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or commerce from a reputed college/university;
Strong interest in valuation/finance/accounting;
Progress towards or interest in obtaining professional degrees/designations such as CFA/ MBA etc.;
Good academic track record and strong work ethic;
An understanding of valuation, including cost of capital, DCF, and other valuation tools;
Attention to detail;
Self-motivated attitude and able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Advanced skills set in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; exposure to databases such as Bloomberg, Capitaline etc. is a plus;
Internship experience in valuations /corporate finance space is a plus but not required.
