About the Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll and the management of daily financial activities. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with various teams, such as Sales & CX, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to drive results and ensure the financial health of the organisation. You will also be responsible for the people management of our Finance Administrator.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage and oversee operational financial aspects of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial reporting and analysis to provide insights to key stakeholders and drive decision-making.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and budgets to support growth objectives and manage financial risk.
  • Oversee the annual audit process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
  • Create and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective control of financial activities and safeguarding of assets.
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and insights to drive ongoing improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Manage and prepare necessary tax filings and statutory returns.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with proven experience in financial forecasting and analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across the organisation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience preparing and managing budgets, financial plans, and financial reports
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
