Due to our continued success and growth, we have a great opportunity become available in our Finance Team. We are now accepting applications for a Business Operations Analyst (Trade Promotion Management) reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager.

A newly created role that will see the right candidate working to ensure Trade Spend Management tool processes are documented, complied with and subject to continuous improvement with IT Business Lead for NZ Snacks. You will ensure delivery of accurate commercial forecast for the NZ Business Unit through stakeholder education, overseeing back-end processes, ensuring tool's Master Data is accurately maintained and proactively identifying continuous improvement opportunities along the way.

This role will be based at our Wiri site in Manukau, Auckland. Our hiring process prior to a decision will include an Interview, Online Assessment, Background & Pre-Employment Checks.

Key Accountabilities - Trade Management Tool
  • Act As Owner of the Trade Management Tool - superuser / training new users / troubleshooting
  • Creation of a learning calendar and rolling out trainings to upskill team members
  • Ensure accuracy/understanding of interfacing data between systems (One Number Forecast)
  • Ownership of logging tickets with Sustain / resolve issues / lead enhancement deployments / upgrades etc
  • Partner with the AU Lead to share best practice / knowledge share / continuous improvement
  • Partner with the Commercial IT BRM to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement of the system landscape for Net Revenue planning
  • Partner with the Sales Account Managers to understand priority areas for improvement
  • Manage NPD process as it relates to ability to plan in the software (dummy SKUs etc)
  • Maintain approval hierarchies (promo / claims)
  • Maintain guardrails within the plans in partnership with Revenue Strategy function
  • Create and activate Responsibility Areas - assign users to RAs
  • Load and activate the Planning Product Hierarchy
  • Add new products as appropriate / maintenance of PPH
  • Create new buyers / Define Assortment
  • Upload baseline volumes / RSP / COGS
  • Upload internal targets by RA
  • Take version copies - AOP and Latest Estimates
  • Create and release funds / fund plans
  • Loading pricing into ECC
  • Claims management and processing (incl approval process, aged accrual management, rebate closures and appropriate reporting)
  • Document the new trade spend management processes and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Champion the tool with continuous support through training and induction
  • Work with IT on continuous improvements based on business feedback

About You
  • Experience using BI, Trade Spend Management Software
  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or IT
  • Understanding of Commercial Systems Landscapes
  • Strong data management skills- extraction/analysis/exception reporting
  • Internal customer focus
  • Excellent user of Microsoft Suite - Excel
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams
  • Flexible, Organized and able to handle competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and forming business recommendations
  • Ability to operate as a self-starter
