The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) works with TAFEs across Victoria in a new way to build a stronger, more effective TAFE network. This position is located within the TAFE Quality branch with responsibility for oversight of TAFE finances and for both Infrastructure Planning and Delivery.

Reporting to the Manager, TAFE Financial Oversight, the role of a Senior Finance Analyst is to provide innovative budget, policy and financial management analysis and advice on TAFE finance and budget.

The Role
  • Audits TAFE Financials aligned to the TAFE Network sustainability and performance approach
  • Develops and delivers strategic, business and operational reports
  • Undertakes audit and financial analysis
  • Interprets financial statements to identify financial impacts and extract greater detail or understanding
  • Assists with the planning and coordination of briefings and other financial and policy inputs
  • Contributes to the maintenance of data quality and integrity across a range of systems by identifying and communicating issues and errors.

Desired Experience/Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in appropriate field.
  • Accreditation CPA or Chartered Accountant is desirable.
  • Relevant audit, government, business experience in a similar role will be well regarded.
