Based in Auckland CBD

The National Transaction Manager is responsible for working closely with the Alliance Director/Senior Portfolio Manager to support the delivery of the client's property strategy across the Client's retail portfolio and corporate network within New Zealand.

This role will attend to all aspects of transaction service delivery and assist with strategy delivery for the account.

Here's a snapshot of your day;
  • Identify proactive opportunities to leverage market conditions to improve outcomes to drive favourable outcomes for the Client's Business (exits, lease renewals, acquisitions)
  • Lease Negotiations: Responsibility of the Estates Manager for their portfolio, with the exception of instances where the National Transaction Manager is the nominated need for deliver
  • For complex transaction or high-profile negotiations, including freehold transactions, leasehold acquisition, or disposal, we recommend that a market broker leads the negotiation process with the support of the dedicated strategist
  • Identify opportunities for scope increases, and opportunities whilst developing, maintaining and delivering upon the Account expansion plans
  • Provide the Technical and Management direction for all Facility Management services and utilise all CBRE resources (eg. Procurement) to reduce costs and increase satisfaction across the region.

Skills and experience you'll need to thrive in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in property or related field
  • Property management or leasing transaction experience ideally working on a major account
  • Strong negotiation and time management skills
  • Sound knowledge of leases/property contracts and New Zealand property law
  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages - particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
