Ready for your next role?? We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is an allrounder to join our Finance team at RGF Staffing. This is a 3-month temp role, based in Auckland CBD, where you will be experienced with Payroll, Accounts Payable & Receivable and be able to start immediately.

About the role - Atu mo te mahi
Reporting into the Finance Manager, as an Accounts Assistant you will work closely with our Senior Accounts Assistant and be responsible for full end to end process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all Payroll/AP/AR related tasks in accordance with company procedures/policy.
You'll have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment, be the first point of contact for internal/external stakeholders, be an articulate communicator with a confident and professional personality. High work ethic and an ability to work independently and show a high level of initiative is key in this role.

Key tasks and accountabilities:

Weekly payroll processing - contractor & temp
Accurate processing of payroll related tasks
Ensure all invoices are processed correctly and on time
Finalising and reviewing timesheets
Weekly AR/Debtor follow ups & reporting & administration
Managing and responding to all communication received by email and phone
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting (month end, client reporting, etc)
Resolve discrepancies and recalculations
Daily receipting of payments
Managing the CRM/ATS system& MYOB for payroll
Great Plains/GP18
Fast and accurate processing/data entry
Ad hoc administrative duties
Build and maintain positive, effective relationships with all internal stakeholders

About you - Pehea koe

Strong, proven experiences as an Accounts Assistant (Payroll, AP & AR)
GP18 or just Great Plains experience is preferred
Intermediate excel skills (excel testing may be required)
Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to set/handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Methodical and remains calm under pressure
Strong attention to detail/computer literacy and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential (written & verbal)
Ability to work co-operatively and effectively as part of a team and autonomously
Strong knowledge/understanding of NZ Legislation
Proactive and self-motivated
