About the Role | Kōrero mō te tūranga
This role forms part of the People and Capability team, the key focus will be making sure our employees are paid accurately and on time. This hands-on role will be part of a team responsible for processing end-to-end weekly and fortnightly pay for 850 staff.
This role will require a high level of capability and expertise in payroll functions, including current payroll, legislation, compliance, reporting, and managing risk.
As the Senior Payroll Advisor, you will work with internal customers to upskill, identify business and process improvement opportunities, and ensure best practice is embedded and maintained throughout the payroll process.
About You │ Mōu
You will have experience in processing end-to-end payroll, producing payroll-related reports, filing IRD returns, and paying relevant staff deductions. Experience using PayGlobal is essential along with a expert understanding of the Payroll Legislation.
You'll have a proactive personality with a well-organised approach to managing your day. Your continuous improvement mindset with an agile personality allows you to adapt to changing demands in your calendar. Your keen eye for detail will be key in this role as you produce various types of accurate detailed information.
As a natural team player, your well-developed interpersonal skills will be key as you liaise and connect with all areas of our business providing best practice advice and particularly pay-related queries to staff.
Of course, a great sense of humour is a key requirement as our team collaborates and has fun as we work.
