Dependent on experience
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm

VH Talent is delighted to be supporting our client, a renowned manufacturing facility in Lincolnshire to appoint a Site Accountant. The successful candidate will be joining a small Accounts Team and play an instrumental role in the day to day running of the department. A varied role which will encompass both financial and management accounting.

The Site Accountant Role:
* Financial and management accounting and costing tasks
* Preparation of the monthly accounts pack
* Collate and present both financial and non-financial management data to Senior Stakeholders
* Analysis of business performance, identifying variances to budget and their causes
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Capital expenditure tracking and reporting
* Project accounting tasks and liaison with both the Commercial and Project Teams
* Support external auditors as required
* Support the annual stock take and the subsequent analysis
* Assist the Group Financial Controller with tasks as required
* Supply Ops with monthly accounts information to take to board meetings
You’ll Need:
* Essential: ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards
* Experienced in financial and management accounting
* IT literate and competent in Microsoft packages; Excel, Word and Outlook
* Highly organised and has attention to detail
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Full UK Driving Licence as may be required to visit other sites
* Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous however not essential
