As the CFO of a Multi Academy Trust, you may not be the teacher but you will ensure the financial stability of the trust ensuring that contracts deliver value for money, budgets are allocated correctly, that financial returns are completed in a timely way, that the education leadership are supported to make decisions that help to grow the trust and ensure excellence in teaching and learning, that the money is available and spent in the right way to ensure a safe learning environment for all and that that any growth is sustainable and does not impact the financial sustainability of the organisation. So you have your part to play and if you believe in the power of education to change lives and that as an financial leader you can genuinely impact children's outcomes then this role could be for you!

The role is based in West Yorkshire and the CEO would like you to be present but hybrid working is definitely an option.
Salary and benefits are generous c£60-65k basic salary plus access the the West Yorkshire Pension Fund, 28 days holiday plus 3 extra closure days and bank holidays on top.. and access to employee assistance programmes and wider benefits too!..

You will be a qualified accountant with strong leadership experience and you will have operated at Financial Controller level or above, experienced in leading a small team, ensuring robust financial controls and governance, able to advise and provide financial guidance and advice to the CEO and the Board. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to influence at all levels across an organisation.
