Hays are working with one of Liverpool's premium employers to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant.

Your new company

Your new role
As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for all monthly p&L and balance sheet reporting for a number of divisional subsidiaries and legal entities.
You will manage a small team to ensure that month end is completed efficiently and accurately and will account for any variances to budget.
At year end you will lead the close down and production of statutory accounts in preparation for audit.
You'll get exposure to both IFRS and UK reporting as well as some tax exposure.
This really is a great role to cut your teeth in industry!

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified accountant with a strong technical knowledge. It is likely you have trained in practice and are looking for your first move into a commercial business.
You'll want to manage a team and build your career in a demanding environment that rewards high performance.
