A world leader in the science and environmental space, this business is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant from practice to expand its finance team. You'll join a market leader which will give you the training and development to further your career.

Your new role
As Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for leading the General Ledger Team including ownership of the account's preparation process for management, group, and statutory reporting. Taking the lead on VAT and Corporation Tax reporting and all Finance compliance tasks. You'll also support in the management and development of General Ledger team.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll be qualified accountant and an ACA/ACCA first time mover from practice. Alongside this, you'll have experience in preparing statutory accounts and tax reporting along with VAT returns. You'll have Sound knowledge of IFRS and key differences between UK GAAP and IFRS - incl. corporation. You'll have ideally worked with range of large, complex, international groups. Finally, you'll be a competent user of excel.

What you'll get in return
In return, you'll receive a competitive compensation package of up to £55,000 along with the flexibility of hybrid working.
