Vaco has partnered with a local company that is searching for a Staff Accountant to assist their team. The Staff Accountant must have experience in performing bank and GL account reconciliations as well as journal entries. The role is expected to last 2-3 months but has likelihood for direct hire at the end of the contract period.
Position Title: Staff Accountant
Position Type: Contract or Contract to Hire
Project Length: Approx. 2-3 months with strong potential for direct hire at end of contract period
Location: Central Phoenix/Biltmore area
Work Schedule: Onsite

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent job experience
• At least 1 year of GL accounting experience
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly
• Ability to start ASAP and commit to the duration of the project
