Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their team.

The incumbent will be responsible for the smooth running of their section

Duties:

• Minimum of five years working experience in an accounting or Bookkeeping function to trial balance
• Minimum of three years managing a team of 2-3 people
• Must have solid working knowledge of Pastel Partner and SAGE 300 (Technical skill advantage)
• Sound knowledge of IFRS
• Proficiency Computer literacy in Window, MS Office (Outlook, Advanced Excel & Data Management, PowerPoint & Presentation)
• Statutory returns preparation and submission
• Working knowledge of E-filing
• Preparation of Budgets
• Must be enthusiastic, presentable, disciplined and punctual
• Self-motivated, team worker and a self-starter
• Attention to detail, high accuracy levels and methodical
• Analytical thinker
• Inspire confidence with shared services team members and colleagues
• Fast thinker with problem solving capabilities
• Must be able to show initiative
• Must be able to work in a deadline-driven, pressurized environment
• Strong recons

• Clear Credit and Criminal records
• Bookkeeping or Accounting Diploma required

Requirements

• Finance related qualification / BCom
• At least five years' experience
