The College of Business at Anderson University cordially invites applications for a professional-path, ten-month instructional position in the area of Accounting at the rank of assistant professor. The preferred start date for the position is Fall 2023.  Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The University seeks candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

 

Faculty could have a potential teaching schedule that includes undergraduate and graduate classes offered at the main campus, the Greenville, SC campus, and online. Preference will be given to those who have a CPA with a record of successful teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. An earned doctorate in Accounting or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is preferred; candidates who are ABD or have earned a master’s degree will be considered.

 

The College of Business at Anderson University is ACBSP accredited, has 18 full-time faculty members, serves approximately 600 students, offers eight majors in the Bachelor of Science in Business degree program and eleven minors, six concentrations in the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program, and the Bachelor of Organizational Leadership. In addition to a robust undergraduate population, we offer an MOL and an MBA with four concentration options, and four graduate certificates.
