Your new role

As the FP&A Manager, you will play a vital role in the central finance team, reporting to the Head of FP&A. You will have one direct report, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting and analysing monthly business performance
  • Conducting quarterly reporting and analysis, including quarterly forecasts.
  • Preparing quarterly reporting presentation packs, presenting key insights to senior stakeholders
  • Managing a quarterly forecast and annual budget process.
  • Assisting with the preparation and reporting of the monthly Sector management accounts.
  • Support the month end close process working with regional finance teams.
  • Continuingly improving reporting and adopting new group tools and processes.
  • Collaborating closely with regional finance teams to gain insights into business performance.
  • Working with corporate finance teams to meet reporting requirements.
  • Undertaking additional ad hoc reporting and project work as needed.



What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in team management and development.
