Your new role
We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our reputable Non-Profit & Higher Education provider on a 48-month fixed term contract. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing reliable financial analysis, building trusted relationships, and offering invaluable advice on critical business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their financial needs and provide comprehensive support and guidance.
  • Act as a key contributor to the annual budget process and quarterly reforecasting, ensuring accurate financial information and analysis.
  • Take the lead on specific project work by supporting the Business Development team, offering financial insights, and actively participating in project teams during the tendering process for new or existing contracts.
  • Provide timely and strategic financial advice to key stakeholders, enabling them to make informed decisions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate financial performance, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop proactive recommendations to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, etc.) are desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role, preferably within the Non-Profit or Higher Education sector.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear and concise insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a track record of successfully collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

They offer a competitive salary ranging from £37,000 to £43,000, dependent on qualifications and experience, along with a range of benefits and a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth.
