A Financial Controller role in London paying between £54,000 - £58,000 with a well-known youth organisation
Your new company
You will be joining a one of the UK's oldest youth organisations established over 100 years ago. Their members are still pushing boundaries and achieving great things to empower youth to be their best. This charitable organisation has grown into a vast and vibrant network of members across the UK.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead all the day-to-day financial controls and financial processing for the Association's Headquarters, and lead the financial support to the Training & Activity Centres. You will oversee Financial accounting, Tax and Treasury and will lead and develop a team of five staff.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualified accountant with a can-do attitude, being comfortable with identifying and leading change. Previous experience managing people is required.
Looking for a candidate who will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience with restricted and designated fund management
- Leading the annual audit process
- Line management experience
- Cash flow forecasting, investment and treasury management
- Charity accounting experience would be desirable but not a must
