Hodge is excited to offer a 12-month placement within our Finance team. This role is designed to provide invaluable experience and knowledge in all aspects of management accounts and Treasury back office processes. As a member of this team, you will be working closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise and fostering professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  •  Assist with the month end close activities, including posting journals and updating support files.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate support for the balance, highlighting items which need additional follow up with the business.
  • Assist with the daily finance activities, supporting the general ledger process.
  • Assist Treasury back office processes, ensuring accuracy of data in systems and information provided internally and to 3rd
  • Maintain job cards (systems of internal control) to ensure reflect the current process.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when requested by the Management Accounting Manager or Financial Controller.

What do we need from you?

  • Undergraduate studying a degree relating to Finance.
  • Mathematics (grade A-C) at GCSE level or equivalent Sound accounting and financial acumen
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver against set deadlines
  • Understanding and awareness of the economic environment
