Interim Head of Finance role (Insurance)

6 month interim senior finance assignment- Bristol

About the role:

• 6 month interim Head of Finance role for the rest of 2023 at least
• Bristol based (2/3 hybrid working with occasional travel to various parts of the business)
• Insurance sector experience is essential for this assignment
• Must be technically excellent & be able to fully immerse yourself into the business/ assignment
• Available to interview immediately & start ASAP
• Inside IR35 regulations- daily rate to be agreed depending on experience/ pay type

Business as usual specifics:

• Manage all financial reporting and control processes
• Ensure the integrity of the business & finance data flows and accounting, including reinsurance accounting (LPT, xol, qs)
• Oversee all regulatory and companies house submissions
• Oversee preparation and audit of annual financial statements

Run off specifics:

• Manage all aspects of the finance and actuarial run off activities
• Maintain financial, liquidity and solvency projections
• Interact and Support CFO and CEO to deliver broader run off plans
• Thought leadership and lead all financial activities ahead of Part X business transfer
