Due to maternity leave, the finance function require support within management accounts.

Your new role
As accountant you will be supporting the financial controller in ensuring transactions and activities are carried out as well as assisting with management accounts.

Main duties include:

• Bank reconciliations and reporting of closing balances.

• Perpetual inventory counts for finished goods stock.

• Direct workers payroll

• Close nominal ledger
• Express reporting
• Foreign currency bank account revaluations
• Run stock reports
• Journals
• Accruals and prepayments
• Check management accounts notes from Assistant Account before forwarding to Financial Controller
• Run reports for export to account pack within MS Excel
• Submit departmental summaries with comments to department heads
• Balance Sheet reconciliations

The company have a bespoke system and full training will be provided.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of month-end close processes, strong time management and attention to detail. Ideally hold an accounting qualification although this is not essential.

What you'll get in return
The role will be approximately 15 months and upon successful completion you will receive a bonus. You will receive company benefits and training will be provided.
