Management Accountant

An interim Management Accountant role for a market leading FMCG group in Manchester for six months.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will drive and deliver the monthly Management Accounts Reporting in a timely manner to meet the business requirements in driving commercial and operational performance. You will analyse profit and loss variances to budget and report on any anomalies. Support the development and maintenance of the fixed asset register. Maintain records of provisions and sundry accruals. Provide support to the FP&A and Commercial Finance Teams, in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting. Implement financial controls, processes and procedures as directed.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified or finalist accountant, with strong management accounting and analytical skills.
You will be highly IT literate and enjoy business partnering with several teams within the business. You will be available to start in the next couple of weeks and happy to commit to a period of at least six months.
