An large accounting practice based in Newport looking to add within its successful audit team.


Your new role

• Manage audits from planning to completion.
• Prepare and review general accounts.
• Support the Audit Managers to coach trainees and support with their learning and development.
• Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
• Monitor workflow of the team.
• Identify and assess risk.
• Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and other sectors of the firm and support with company growth.
• Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
• Confident in networking to promote the department.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA or ACCA qualified or on the Professional stages of exams
• Efficient in both audit and accounting

• ACA,?ACCA?or?CA qualified or a finalist with audit experience within practice
• Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
• Technically efficient in both audit and accounting
• A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
• Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
• Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
