Experienced Credit Controller required for a Sale based company. Office based x4 days, 1 home.

Based in Sale, this long established services based company have a new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join their company due to an exciting department re-structure. Your new role

Duties and Responsibilities

Working as part of this busy vibrant finance department you will be reportable to the Financial Controller and will be tasked to manage the Credit Control function.

In this varied role you will liaise and nurture high spend customers, dealing with your portfolio of customers to ensure cash flow and overdue debt is retrieved.
You will naturally deal with any queries which may arise and build solid business relations.
As part of the sales ledge function you will raise manual invoices and credits t ensure a smooth business function.
You will have skills in manipulating data on order to provide management reports on debts and risk mitigation.
This is a varied role and you will be exposed to the full function.
A real get up and go and passion to succeed will ensure your success!

Duties include:-

  • Chase debts and query resolution in a timely manner, including investigating, logging, resolving disputes
  • Nurture and build solid business relations
  • .Invoicing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in line with invoicing procedures
  • Raising credit notes for invoices
  • Uploading invoices to customer portals
  • Month end procedures and ledger management
  • Data manipulation and production of reports

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a solid background in Credit Control
Sales ledger exp
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to prioritise
Ability to work in a fast paced and busy department
Can do attitude
Enjoys being part of a team
