Position Description:
The opportunity:
We have an exciting position in hi for a Merchandise Assistant. The successful incumbent will work closely with a team of planners.
Responsibilities:
Price changes
Yoobic communication to stores
JDA management i.e. adding & removing of stores and attributes
Replacement orders
ITSM
Unmatched invoices
Loading of styles
Weekly Supplier Reports
Ad hoc reporting requested
Managing the department mail box
Store & order queries
Good and poor performing styles analysed
Performance monitored on promotional styles
Data checked for inconsistencies
Verbal and written reporting, coherent, relevant and accurate
Effective interpretation and understanding of the interrelationship between data variables
Optimal use of systems ensured
Any concerns addressed with the relevant people
Feedback given on an on-going and structured basis to customers and external suppliers
Requirements:
1-2 year experience in the same or similar role
Knowledge of internal systems would be advantageous
Good Excel & Microsoft Office skills
Must be able to be proactive and attention to detail is important
Matric is essential
