Manager

for an Engineering Company in Manchester.

Hours: Mon- Friday 9-5



Salary:
40k Negotiable

Key Duties:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department which have approx. 4 team members: including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.

Preparation of management accounts.

Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations

Communication of management accounts to management team

VAT/PAYE returns/reconciliations

Cash flow forecasting

Ensure strong financial controls are in place and embedded

Review and automate processes and procedures where necessary

Year-end process liaising with external auditors and production of financial report

Oversee our IT provision

Management of vehicle fleet

Requirements:

Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)

Experience in a finance management role, preferably in an engineering environment

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
