Secure a part-time position with flexible hours of work with a well established business in Lower Hutt. $40 per hour
Our client is NZ's premium gift curating and wholesaling business. This is a family owned business that is well established and recognised, currently in its 35th year of trading.

Our client sources and stocks premium-end and heritage brands, supplying boutique gift stores, mid to high end gift stores, bookshops, concept stores and department stores. Their product range includes; homewares, greetings cards, gardening gifts, upmarket stationery, party supplies.

The Opportunity
We're seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper with a relevant qualification and all-round experience with small business finance management. Secure a part-time position on a contract basis with a well established business with solid clientele. Days/hours of work are flexible over 3-3.5 days p/w, based at the businesses main office in Lower Hutt, Wellington.
What you'll be doing:

Manage the overall finances of the business including:
  • Payroll
  • General ledger
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Budget reporting
  • Credit controls
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Sales reporting
  • Management reporting
  • GST, FBT & provisional tax
  • Customer service - issues/queries and internal service requests

Skills & Experience:
  • Accountant qualification
  • AC Account Technician (preferred)
  • Accounting/bookkeeping experience for small
    businesses
  • Personable and collaborative with good communication skills
  • Suitable for a self employed contractor (preferred)
  • The right to permanently live & work in New Zealand
