Tax Manager, Customs and Trade (Multiple Positions)

Tax Manager, Customs and Trade (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, New York, NY. Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs in various industries. Support clients within the complex national and international tax environment and manage various operational tax risks. Advise on technology-enabled customs and trade subjects. Identify and address client needs. Manage resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $165,000 - $165,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Providing tax and risk management services to clients in different industries in relation to tax services in various industries;
• Applying tax knowledge in the areas of corporate tax compliance;
• Utilizing fee arrangements and pricing tools;
• Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data; and,
• Implementing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.  

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office. 

Travel up to 80% is required.
