The Role
As the Accounts Payable officer, you will report to the Finance Manager. You will be part of a team of 7 in Accounts payable alone and have the following responsibilities:

The Role
As the Accounts Payable officer, you will report to the Finance Manager. You will be part of a team of 7 in Accounts payable alone and have the following responsibilities:
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed in a timely & accurate manner
- Ensure subcontractor payment claims are processed
- Ensure staff expenses and purchasing card claims are processed
- Ensure all invoices have appropriate approvals for delegated authorities
- Prepare monthly supplier reconciliations
- Ensure all invoices flowing through the scanning system and caught in exceptions are processed and released
- Be the champion of the PO process and identify training needs of users
- Ensure all queries and manged promptly and resolved
- Run weekly, monthly & ad hoc payments of local vendors and foreign suppliers
- Be an effective member of the AP team.
Skills & Experience required
- An ability to work in a team environment.
- End to end Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven experience working in a fast dynamic & busy environment.
