Francesca’s Recruitment are currently working on an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an industry-leading company based near Tideswell. This is a full-time permanent role.
Hours
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours start / finish times can be flexible,early finishes on Friday !
Salary
Salary depending on experience pension, free parking, 28 days holiday.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a wealth of experience within purchase ledger who is eager to join a friendly finance team and take on a new challenge in a fast-paced and exciting business. The successful candidate will be hard working, proactive and experienced across all areas of purchase ledger.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Duties
* Processing delivery notes
* Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders.
* Recording of the Company's purchase invoices and credit notes.
* Checking accuracy of invoices
* Building supplier relations and assisting with queries
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Paying suppliers
* Setting up new suppliers
* Taking care of petty cash
* Having great working relationships with other departments
* Working closely with the Financial Controller to minimise risk and identify benefits.
* To assist other members of the team as required
Purchase Ledger Clerk Role requirements include:
* Must have had 2+ years previous experience in an account payable function.
* Sage Line 50 experience very advantageous
* Experience working within Sales Ledger and other accounting areas desirable.
* IT Literate on Word, Excel and Outlook
* A Good knowledge of the whole finance process
