Senior Management Accountant – Retford – Competitive Salary+ Hybrid Working

You will have the opportunity to shape this newly created role and support the rapid growth and expansion of the Group’s operations in the UK and globally whilst delivering the management accounts and supporting the Finance Business Partner in providing quality MI, reporting and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Delivery of monthly management accounts for one of the core divisions
Supporting the Finance Business Partner and Finance Director with financial data queries
Innovating and supporting the internal processes and supporting financial reporting across the group central function
Maintaining quality audit trail, reconciliations and records to support the financial accounts of the entities
Liaising and working with external and internal auditors as required around account production and the control environment
Work collaboratively across the Financial Control management team to deliver the wider business service
Managing an operational team of 6 Management and Assistant Management AccountantsRequired Skills & Experience:
Experience working in a central finance function, ideally group finance experience
Qualified accountant is desired, or later stages CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualification
Team management experience is essential
Proficiency in Excel is essential (pivots and lookups)
